Viking-themed RTS Northgard is set for release March 7 after a remarkably successful run in Steam’s Early Access program. You can check out the new trailer above.

The full version of Northgard includes an 11-mission single-player campaign that tells the story of Rig, who sets off on a quest to avenge his murdered father, the King of the Vikings.
When our own Jordan took Northgard for a spin last March, he wound up staying up much too late, finding himself compelled by the game’s solid mix of strategy and colony management. The game’s six clans each have their own characteristics, but in Northgard they all must contend with brutal seasons and scarce resources, fighting for sustainability as much as they are competing with each other.
Shiro Games say the new campaign will serve to teach players the basics of each clan as it tells Rig’s revenge story, which uncovers a sinister plot that reaches beyond his father’s assassination.
If this sounds like it’s up your alley, you can head over to Northgard’s page on Steam and check it out.
