You can now link your Discord and Spotify accounts to share music

Discord

You can now show off the songs you’re listening to in Discord, which means your Destiny 2 fireteam will be able to see if you’re listening to Jimmy Eat World when you’re taking on the Eater of Worlds.

It works similarly to how Discord handles displaying the game you’re playing—all you have to do is link your Discord and Spotify accounts, and you’ll be able to proudly show off the song you’re listening to under your display name. More details will show up in your profile, and your friends can click play there to listen in with you.

If you’ve got a Spotify Premium account, you’ll also be able to share your music with others in your chatroom.

You can also click on other users’ music to take you to the Spotify page for the artist and track, and artists can create their own verified servers for fans to join up and meet each other. The new features are available now.
