The Steam Link has become a very effective piece of home PC kit since it launched, and right now you can get one for a dollar when you buy it in a bundle with Hollow Knight or Human: Fall Flat.
We checked out the Steam Link when it launched, and here’s what we thought of Valve’s home streaming kit.
The address book-sized Link lets you stream Steam from your PC to your HDMI-equipped TV set. Ideally, you’ll want to wire it up to your home network, but the wifi functionality has improved substantially since the unit first came out. There’s still enough lag to make it less than ideal for shooters, but playing Hitman over my wireless network now works beautifully.
You can get one through Steam along with wonky physics puzzler Human: Fall Flat for a total of $8.49 USD, which is 50% off the game and 98% off the Link. Or for $10.89 you can pick it up with the charming and challenging Metroidvania Hollow Knight (that’s 34% off the game and 98% off on the Link).
It’s less of a deal, but you can also get 30% off on a Link if you buy it with a Steam copy of John Wick – that bundle works out to $48.98.
