The Witcher 3 is getting New Game+ mode in the final free DLC

The Witcher 3 New Game+

Updated 29/07/15: CD Projekt’s community manager Marcin Momot has revealed on the game’s forums how New Game + will operate. Players will need to be level 30 or above, so if you start with a lower level Geralt he will be automatically boosted to 30. Every item that your character possesses will be carried over from your original game, with the exception of quest items, books & letters, usable items, and trophies. You’ll also unfortunately lose all your Gwent cards.

New Game + will also provide you with a Clearing Potion, which allows you to reallocate all your skill points should you wish to rebuild your Geralt.

Despite whiling away over 90 hours in the world of The Witcher 3, I’d be more than happy to do it again. Now. I’ve been waiting for the two expansions heading our way, but CD Projekt Red has just tempted me back with the final piece of free DLC.

It’s adding New Game+ mode.

CD Projekt Red teased the last bit of DLC on Facebook, but aren’t ready to reveal details just yet.

“Stay tuned for more info regarding the release,” reads the Facebook post. “It won’t happen this week though – we need a little bit more time to finish it.”

A new movement system, gear, quests, outfits and now a New Game+ mode – The Witcher 3’s certainly not had a dearth of free DLC.
