How do you get the Dauntless Godhand Exotic? The war pike is one of the few Exotic weapons you can find in The Shattered Isles right now. The problem is, you have to know where to look to find it. Dauntless’ rarest weaponry work a bit like Destiny 2’s Exotics in the sense that they require some legwork to acquire. In this case you’ll need to grind for a Blueprint of the Godhand and find the crafting parts before you can craft the war pike.
It’s very much worth your time, though, as it comes with a unique talent that allows you to channel a beam that deals increasing damage over time up to 200% on top of your initial damage. This Dauntless Exotic also belongs to the Radiant element, which means it’s particularly strong against Umbral Dauntless Behemoths.
Do be warned though – the Dauntless Godhand Exotic has had its fair share of bugs. While its unique ability is meant to provide a short burst of power, players found a way of prolonging the effect. While that’s since been patched (sorry), some players have reported another bug that causes them to freeze after using the weapon’s big move. Anyway, here’s how to get the Dauntless Godhand Exotic war pike.
How to get the Dauntless Godhand
First, you’ll need to find the war pike’s blueprint, and you can get that through Heroic Patrols or the Rezakiri Behemoth hunt. Word to the wise, though, hunting Exotics is a late-game activity, so you’ll need to have Heroic Patrols unlocked, and feel able to tackle a Threat Level 17 hunt.
This part is wholly reliant on RNG, sadly, so you’ll need to whip out your chosen method of farming until the Blueprint drops. Once RNG-esus has blessed you, collect these crafting materials:
- 150 Rams
- 3 Rezakiri Chitin
- 1 Radiant Aethergem
- 1 Cracked Biocrystal
- 6 Neutral Furyplate
- 3 Neutral Skullgem
Rams is just the term for the game’s currency, so most likely you’ll be sorted for that. As for the Rezakiri Chitin, Radiant Aethergem, and Crack Biocrystal, you can farm them from the Rezakiri itself. If you’ve been farming this hunt long enough, you may even have them already.
To get the Neutral Furyplate and Skullgem, you’ll need to go after any neutral Behemoth in a hunt that is Threat Level 8 or more. To get the Furyplate, farm a limb when the Behemoth is enraged and, to get the Skullgem, you need to farm a limb from a beast’s head within two minutes of the fight starting.
