What are the Fortnite week 5 challenges? As we approach the halfway mark in the battle royale game’s fourth season, we have another set of Fortnite challenges to keep us busy as we earn ourselves even more juicy battle stars and premium loot.
As always, we have four challenges that reward five battle stars and three harder tasks that rain down ten of the beautiful blighters. The Fortnite week 5 challenges look simple enough: from damage dealing with SMGs to Minigun eliminations and treasure map missions, your objectives here are familiar. Then you can take a break with some Loot Lake movin’ and shakin’.

Fortnite week 5 challenges
Deal damage with SMGs to opponents (500) – 5 stars
A nice and easy one to start us off: just keep plugging away at the health of your battle royale rivals with SMGs and you’re golden.
Search seven chests in Dusty Divot – 5 stars
The gargantuan crater that was once Dusty Depot is your searching spot this week. Look out for the golden glow of items chests for this Fortnite week 5 challenge.
Use a Vending Machine (3) – 5 stars
Swap your spare materials for new gear with the Vending Machine three times to complete this challenge.
Dance with others to raise the Disco Ball near Loot Lake – 5 stars
Grab a full squad and head to the factory in Loot Lake for this challenge. In the southern factory building you will find four platforms. If you all dance at the same time on each platform the disco ball will drop from the ceiling and the five battle stars are yours.
Follow the treasure map found in Greasy Grove – 10 stars
The Greasy Grove treasure map takes you north east of the tranquil ‘burb of Snobby Shores. Located on the map above, the battle star can be found on the nose-like roof the building on the edge of a cliff face.
Get two Minigun or Light Machine Gun eliminations – 10 stars
The hard elimination challenge this week asks you to dispatch your foes with either the Minigun or the Light Machine Gun. Remember the LMG boasts high damage but a lower rate of fire and high recoil, whereas the Minigun has a faster rate of fire, a large magazine, but suffers from a slow reload.
Eliminate three opponents in Lucky Landing – 10 stars
The chinatown paradise of Lucky Landing is ready to host your killing spree this week. Located to the south of Fortnite’s island map, drop here and give three others a pasting to unlock ten of the best battle stars.
