Temtem Ganki: location, evolution, and stats explained

This electric and wind-type temtem is an early favourite, here’s everything you need to know about it

Temtem's Ganki and a tamer of a surfboard

Where do you catch Temtem’s Ganki? Seeing a picture of this sweet, buzzy boy should be enough to inspire anyone to wonder. But you ought to know about Ganki’s location, evolution, and stats, too, as this temtem is more than a cute pocket pal. It’s quite formidable once levelled up a bit.

If you’re new to Temtem, it’s Crema Games’ Pokemon-inspired PC game that’s just hit early access on Steam. It takes the familiar formula of creature catching, gym battling, and adventure and adds some challenge. You pit temtems against each other in two-on-two bouts while keeping an eye on their HP and stamina. It depletes swiftly, and makes battling more considered as temtems hurt themselves if they are overexerted. Temtem also embraces the MMO games of PC, as you’ll notice when you see other tamers strolling around. What also makes this game feel lively is the tiny tems that follow you around.

As everyone should know, Temtem is best enjoyed with a Ganki by your side. To help you out, here’s everything we know about Temtem Ganki and their location, evolution, and stats.

Where to find Temtem Ganki

You can find Ganki along the Thalassian Cliffs. The wild area is just north of Brical de Mar and connects it to Arisolla, where you’ll face your first Temtem dojo. They are quite common, so you shouldn’t be searching for too long. In fact, you should come across it naturally. The fact that temtems show up in twos boosts your chances as well.

What are Ganki’s stats, strengths, and weaknesses?

Ganki’s strength is against wind-types, and they do x4 damage. The temtem is weak to crystal, however – if in doubt, check our Temtem type chart to see how the types interact.

Ganki’s base states are:

  • Health: 38
  • Stamina: 46
  • Speed: 61
  • Attack: 57
  • Defence: 38
  • Special Attack: 62
  • Special Defence: 73

What is Ganki’s evolution?

Ganki evolves into Gazuma after they level up 27 times. This differs to Pokemon, as they level up after they hit a certain level. Don’t be too put off, though, as you’ll catch Ganki around level seven, meaning it shouldn’t be too much of a grind.

Gazuma’s base stats are:

  • Health: 46
  • Stamina: 53
  • Speed: 67
  • Attack: 68
  • Defence: 43
  • Special Attack: 81
  • Special Defence: 91

And there you have it, everything you need to know about Temtem’s Ganki, from it’s stats and location to its evolution. If you’re looking for more Temtem content, we’ve created a Temtem starters guide and have dug into the Temtem evolutions for them, too. If going after perfect stats and Temtem traits is your thing, then maybe you should look at our Temtem breeding guide. If you’re really into the grind, we also have a Temtem luma guide so you can find out how to get a shiny Ganki. If you’d like some more recommendations, we have a temtem tier list, too.
